i just had a thought, that to master an art
the way i was taught, you break it into parts
and you learn each part individually but thorougly
and you put them all together into the best that they can be
because when you every section you can
improve the interaction between
one segment and another
and how they both interact with each other
its important to learn and to keep learning and to change
that’s the only way to make different the stuff that’s in our brains
i take a step forward and i learn something new
then i make sure i understand before i continue to persue
so i have a fundamental understanding of the glue that i need
that’s the underlying baseline before i proceed
then i’m on my way to understanding more than just a bit
i’ll know more than nothing, more than zip
all that i do know is that i want to keep learning
there’s not a stone that i don’t keep unturning
i keep figuring it out what’s important; what i need
it keeps me alive, keeps me on this steed
keep reading, keep feeling
keep my mind open, and keep it appealing
